What comes with our lawn fertilization service?
Our lawn fertilization service includes multiple treatments throughout the year to supply your grass with the nutrients it needs to stay healthy and beautiful. This program also includes weed control treatments to keep your lawn free of weeds! We utilize both pre- and post-emergent weed control treatments to target weeds on your lawn. Our pre-emergent treatments will help prevent weeds from sprouting on your lawn in the first place, while our post-emergent treatments will eliminate any existing weeds.
Our Lawn Fertilization Program Schedule
At Barnes Nursery, we offer a customizable 4-step lawn care program that includes multiple fertilization and weed control treatments from early spring to late summer to keep your lawn healthy and beautiful. Our schedule is as follows:
- Spring: Our first visit is between mid-March and Memorial Day, and we will apply a fertilizer treatment to your lawn to provide it with the nutrients it needs to emerge from winter dormancy. This visit also includes a pre-emergent weed control application to get ahead of weeds and prevent them from sprouting on your lawn.
- Early Summer: During our second visit, your lawn will receive a liquid fertilizer treatment to provide it with additional nutrients and help it prepare for the summer season. We will also apply a broadleaf weed control treatment to eliminate any broadleaf weeds on your turf.
- Late Summer: The third visit occurs in early summer for another fertilizer treatment with additional nutrients to help it survive the summer season.
- Fall: Our final visit is in late summer. Your lawn will receive another fertilizer treatment to replenish the nutrients it lost in the heat of the summer.
You Can Customize Our Fertilization Schedule to Meet Your Lawn's Needs
While we offer a 4-step fertilizer and weed control schedule, you can customize it to meet your lawn's needs and your budget. If you only want some of the steps, you can pick and choose which ones you want to sign up for. However, you can also add more treatments to this program!
